The villain always wants to suck me bald [Quick Wear] Chapter 2

 Little Stand-in 2

Mu Zhi never imagined that simply bringing the villain home would elevate his image from "vase stand-in" to "a vicious stand-in who, in a fit of jealousy and discontent, kidnapped Bai Yueguang. "

The system was bewildered when it spoke of this. It had gone into hibernation early last night for an upgrade, and this morning, when it turned itself on to check the progress, it spotted such a dramatic change.

[That's what everyone says.] The system poked at the panel, the data cable swaying behind it. [Lu Changshu left last night and never returned. All they found was footage of you helping him cross the street.]

Although Fu Lan had immediately disabled the system's cameras the moment he saw Mu Zhi frantically pressed against the wall by Lu Changshu, despite all his precautions, he hadn't anticipated that the two would be caught on camera by Lu Xun, the Second Young Master, while he was pulling out of the parking space.

So after a night of fermentation, the melodramatic development that the substitute kidnapped Bai Yueguang for love was far more credible than Fu Lan doing it himself. Mu Zhi, who was inexplicably blamed, didn't quite understand their train of thought, but thinking that the rumor might have spread throughout the circle by now, he hugged the pillow and pursed his lips, and finally slowly tucked himself back into the quilt.

Although the system was assigned to the protagonist alone, because the little monster was so obedient, it often sneaked over to chat and slack off when Fu Lan was in a meeting at the company.

[Are you ready for the exam next month?]

The original owner is now a senior, and the classes for this semester ended a month ago, so Mu Zhi has been staying at home since he came in.

The original owner was noticed by the protagonist right after entering college, and he was completely inactive for the next few years, but he never failed any professional certificate exams.

Mu Zhi greatly admired the original owner's confidence and courage. If he hadn't failed every test, the little demon's admiration for him might have multiplied several times. Thanks to the original owner, in just over ten days, Mu Zhi would take his first CET-4 English test.

"No," a muffled voice rang out from beneath the covers, a hint of disappointment in its tone. "The vocabulary is so hard to memorize, and the grammar is hard to understand."

To prove their relationship, Fu Lan needed to spend dozens of hours with Mu Zhi every week. Naturally, the task of tutoring him in English fell on him. However, due to a plot point recently, the company suddenly became busy, forcing the tutoring to be suspended.

Due to insufficient system permissions, the only assistance they could offer was to scrambled exam questions and videos onto Mu Zhi's tablet.

[It's okay if you don't pass the test; it won't affect the main storyline anyway.] Reassured by the system's words, the quilt shifted slightly, and the person inside finally popped their head out.

"But I'll lose points for doing that," Mu Zhi said dejectedly. "He said I can't go back until I have enough points."

Excluding any unforeseen circumstances, those pulled by the main system to perform tasks fall into two main categories: those who volunteer to gain experience, and those who work to pay off debts for wrongdoing. Although Mu Zhi fell into the latter category, he still couldn't grasp the true value of the magical herb he'd accidentally knocked over.

After all, the drooping herb looked even less beautiful than its original form, both in appearance and growth.

The little monster didn't understand, but he didn't dare to say anything. But once he had enough points to return, he'd definitely go and secretly investigate the idiot who had treasured that shoddy herb. So, to get home as quickly as possible, he couldn't afford to lose any points.

Seeing him suddenly perk up again, the system silently ran back to Fu Lan, intending to find him a reliable tutor.

The young man rolled around in bed, his quilt tucked in, and just as he was about to go back to sleep, he suddenly raised his head as if hearing something.

As he hurried downstairs in his slippers, he saw porridge on the table and a tall, slender figure in the kitchen. The previously agreed-upon plan was to escort Lu Changshu out of the club and then directly check him into the Fu family's hotel.

Unlike Mu Zhi, who had initially been kind to Lu Changshu, he (Fu Lan) didn't think it was a coincidence that a villain with a 70% level of evil had fallen to a small demon. But then he thought, leaving someone so evil alone outside was a hidden danger. So Fu Lan stepped on the accelerator and finally brought him home.

Mu Zhi had fallen asleep in the passenger seat the night before, and upon being woken by the shaking, he rubbed his eyes and rushed straight to the bedroom, completely unaware of the person following him.

Lu Changshu, with his sleeves rolled up, turned around and saw a young man in yellow-green pajamas lurking at the kitchen door, his head poking out and watching him warily.

The man in front of him was wearing a simple shirt and black pants, with thin red lips and deep eyes. He looked noble and elegant because of the thin-framed glasses on his nose. He had nothing to do with the dangerous image that Fu Lan had been talking about.

Mu Zhi tilted his head and hid himself outside the door a little stiffly, "You got up so early." He was so focused on breaking the awkwardness that he didn't think before he spoke. It wasn't until the other party chuckled that he (Mu Zhi) realized that it was almost nine o'clock.

Lu Changshu looked at the young man whose whole body was full of regret. The corners of his narrow eyes narrowed slightly, but his tone was full of apology, "I used the kitchen without permission just now, I hope you don't mind."

"Ah?" Mu Zhi blinked, shook his head blankly and said, "I don't mind."

"That's good," Lu Changshu seemed relieved, his voice still warm and gentle, "I just saved a bowl for you too."

Although Mu Zhi lived with Fu Lan, all three meals a day were either cooked by the auntie or taken out. However, the auntie had recently gone back to her hometown for some business, and Mu Zhi, a picky eater, couldn't find anything satisfying after trying all the takeout.

He had already prepared to transform back into his original form and bask in the sun while absorbing the nutrient solution, but now, just in time for the piping hot millet porridge, Mu Zhi instantly brightened. The little stand-in's eyes sparkled as he nodded, making Lu Changshu smile again.

But as the other person sat at the dining table with his back to him, the man leaning against the doorframe completely extinguished the gentleness on his face. His brows remained cold, his eyes etched with a carefree indifference and deep thought.

Just as Fu Lan suspected, Lu Changshu had done it on purpose last night. Unbeknownst to him (Fu Lan, I think...), his well-known return from bankruptcy was also a deliberate act.

Lu Changshu's childhood was indeed as depicted in the plot, but he was never one to accept fate.

For example, he transferred to another high school not because he couldn't stand being ostracized, but because he wanted to escape the Lu family's control. Later, he went abroad not to avoid this group, but because he had a more interesting plan.

Even attending the cocktail party last night was just to give City A the illusion of his own downfall and, incidentally, to cause some harmless trouble for his good brother. But before he could act, not only did Fu Lan show up, but he was also targeted by a soft-hearted and naive young double.

When he left the private room last night, he wanted to ask for information about Mr. Fu and the young stand-in, but before he could even call, the person showed up.

The young man was obviously not very courageous, and his responses to greetings were always timid and obedient. But this person not only stared at him the moment he entered the room, but now he even followed him rashly.

Even Lu Changshu, no matter how heartless he was, felt a rare curiosity after realizing that the other person was coming for him. So, with the intention of teasing them, and also to avoid being harassed by others, Lu Changshu simply hugged him (Mu Zhi), intending to see what they were up to.

Rumors were swirling outside, and even his own partner had just sent a message, wanting to ask him what the kidnapped person thought.

  What were his thoughts?

Perhaps he had found a new pleasure besides boring revenge - something unexpected, yet pure and innocent.

His fingers tapped lightly on the side of his leg, and just as Mu Zhi was about to stand up, Lu Changshu put away his thoughts and instantly put on his previous gentle appearance.

"Is it to your taste?" he asked with a smile.

Mu Zhi nodded, holding the empty bowl. Then, realizing his response seemed a bit perfunctory, he tilted his head and pursed his lips, adding, "It's delicious."

  "Thank you."

A hint of a smile played in Lu Changshu's eyes. Seeing that he was still looking at him confused, after washing the dishes, he smiled and explained, "It's obviously me who should say thank you."

"After all, you were the ones who brought me back."

The little stand-in had always been shy and unsociable. The transformation was the result of two weeks of hard work by Fu Lan and the system. So, now that he was greeted by that smile, he subconsciously pinched his fingers again. "It's okay."

The other person's voice was quiet, but it was particularly comforting to Lu Changshu.

  Tsk.

He wondered where Fu Lan had managed to coax such an interesting little stand-in.

His thoughts had wandered, but Lu Changshu still wore a perfectly balanced expression of confusion. "Then I can ask, why did you bring me back last night?" Truth be told, Lu Changshu was genuinely curious.

Though clearly treating him like his perfect love, Fu Lan's gaze last night wasn't filled with any admiration, but rather a hint of wariness. Meanwhile, the young man before him, supposedly a rival in love, had eyes that sparkled, devoid of any distractions.

The moment Mu Zhi heard this question, he was completely bewildered. He frantically recalled the system's description, his expression becoming peculiar.

Lu Changshu, who had been watching the young man, naturally noticed the change. The curve of his lips gradually straightened, until the smile in his eyes completely vanished. Then, resignedly, he said, "Didn't you see?"

"Because you're back," Mu Zhi summoned his courage, glaring at him with what he thought was a fierce look. "So I took you back while you were drunk and locked you up, so you'd never have the chance to find Fu Lan again."

Mu Zhi had finally given up struggling. After dryly reciting his threats from the book "100 Things a Vicious Substitute Must Do" that the system had thrust upon him, he wished he could find a basin and shove himself into it.

But after a while, he looked up again to see the other person's expression, with a little undisguised pleading in his eyes, "Do you believe it?"

Lu Changshu was stunned for a moment, he raised his hands to cover his face, and laughed: "I believe it."

How dare he not believe it?

He felt that if he said he didn't believe it, the other person would not only wilt and hide, but might even call Fu Lan over to make up a story for him.
